This fourth cycle in The Power of Recognising More study centres First Nations voices and perspectives, reclaiming space for self-determination and solidarity in education.

Led by Alinta Williams and developed in partnership with the National Indigenous Youth Education Coalition, the report explores three interwoven threads – co-agency, belonging and relationships – as foundations for transformative change.

Drawing on the experiences and leadership of young First Nations researchers – Alyssa Richardson and Anjali Ali, the report highlights the power of self-determined learning environments and offers a practical tool to help educators, systems and communities move from reflection to action. It invites readers to listen deeply, act collectively, and embed Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing in education systems so that all young people, and especially young Mob, can thrive.
